Whilst the overall experience was satisfactory, there was unfortunately a little mix up over the booking process and the scope of work to be undertaken on this occasion. This was rectified professionally by service agent Sam Waite on the day.

I was pleased with the service. My appt was 8am. I received updates whilst in the lounge saying the car would be ready by 4pm which was odd given the work was minor. As it happens the car was ready at 10.30. The rogue 4pm messages were unhelpfu.

The service from the mechanics was very good, with a video being sent, as well as advice on items that had been noted, during a general inspection. The issue was with telephone staff and follow-up quotes for work, which have not materialised.

Car failed mot on windscreen washer. Tester said he could not hear the washer motor. However I was told to leave the car and pay 150 pounds to find the fault and get an estimate. Also told of danger of using Halfords washer fluid.

The service was carried out fairly efficiently, but I was told I needed a new tyre. I was told that the car could not be driven back to me as it was unsafe, but I could go and collect the car and drive it back if I wanted to !

Oli was great in making the best of what was to start with a bit of a disaster. However the replacement exhaust trim/cap that has been fitted sits deeper than the one on the other side by a good 15/20mm. The replacement will need to be refitted.

The phone was not answered. The call management system is very pool. When rafted to the service dept no one answered then put through to mai. Reception. Impossible to speak to someone regarding an update on your car when in service.

Drop off and collection process very easy and BMW staff were very accommodating. The only thing I was extremely disappointed in was the complimentary wash and vacuum offered and accepted was not done at all. Nothing mentioned about it either.

Staff do not communicate. E-mailed same document 3 times to 3 different members of staff. The part required does not come as single element you have to buy the "kit" but on payment no offer of remaining parts. What happens to them? Parts not cheap!

I knew this could take all day, BUT... the app showed car was in workshop for an hour but it was where I left it earlier. Apparently "dont go by that". I asked for progress, "its next, but dont know how hes getting on". Could have found out ?
